This Post will walk you through how to add a picture to the header of your blog.
Things to know before hand:
The length of your header is adjustable, ( lean how to do that here!)
KNOW how wide your header is.
 STEP ONE: re-size your picture.
You will need to open your picture in some kind of editing software. If you don't have any Google offers editing with Picasa and Picnik.
To use this you can simply Goggle search "Picasa Web Albums" and it will be the first link.

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY UPLOADED A PICTURE:
STEP TWO: click on my photos at the top. click on the picture that you want.
STEP THREE: click on the blue and green icon at the top. (it should say edit if you hold your mouse over it)
NOW FOLLOW THE BELOW DIRECTIONS FROM STEP FIVE ON.

IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY PUT UP A HEADER FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
STEP TWO: once you have found picasa, click on the "Upload" button located at the top of the page.
STEP THREE: now upload your image.
STEP FOUR: hold your mouse over the image and there will be a bar at the bottom, click on the pencil (this will take you to the edit stage)
STEP FIVE: on the left hand side the is a "resize" button.
STEP SIX: Now put the width of your header in the first box and the height in the second. Then hit Apply.
STEP SEVEN: Click the "save to my albums" in the upper right hand corner.

STEP EIGHT: Then right click (or command click for mac users) and select "view image"
